When you are feeling insecure, ask yourself if there is a valid reason for this feeling, and then look for ways to either solve the problem or feel more comfortable with the situation. Maybe you need to work on certain skills to increase your self-confidence.

Everyone has fears; the world is filled with worries and insecurity. Talking to others about your fears can help to put them into perspective; you may find that others share your fears. Or, you might discover that your fears are unfounded.

Relationship problems and social problems can often be overcome by discussing the issues. If you have money problems, look at your spending habits and see if you can cut back somewhere. If you are not happy with your job, look at what is available; maybe it’s time for a career change.

Whatever the cause of the insecurity, it needs to be confronted and dealt with. It’s OK to ask for help; many need the assistance of professional counseling to overcome their fears and feelings of insecurity.
